New York Planning Federation Annual Awards
Each year the Federation presents several awards recognizing achievement in support of our mission. The awards will be presented at the annual conference, Sept. 21-24, in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Nominations are welcome in the following categories:
Heissenbuttel Award for Planning Excellence Pomeroy Award for Zoning Achievement Levine Community Award John O. Cross Award David Allee Award

Given to an individual, municipality or agency for outstanding or innovative accomplishment in the planning field, and/or for consistent support of the NYPF in its efforts towards better planning.
Given to a municipality, individual or agency for consistently high quality work and/or outstanding value of work in the zoning field, or for an outstanding contribution to zoning in NYS through development of a specific zoning law or legal agreement.
Given to a volunteer member of a municipal board who has done an outstanding job for his/her community and/or the NYPF.
Given to an outstanding planning board chair.
Given to an outstanding zoning board chair.
